Frequently asked questions
Can I choose my partner?
The whole idea is to collaborate with a stranger and learn to adapt, connect, and create beyond your comfort zone.
What if my genre doesn’t match with my partner’s?
That’s the challenge! Embrace the contrast. You’re encouraged to blend ideas, explore new formats, and create something hybrid and original.
What format should our final output be in?
Digital format only — preferably video, image set, digital file, or online link. We’ll guide you after pairing.
Do I retain rights to my work?
Yes. Creators own their work. We’ll only use your content for event display and promotions with due credits.
What if my partner drops out mid-way?
We’ll try to assign a replacement (if within the timeline), or you may be allowed to proceed solo under special circumstances.
Will this be conducted virtually?
Yes. Everything — from team pairing to submission — will be online.
However, top 5 entries will be featured at a physical event for display and awards.
